"Southeast Asians/ Malayan skin tone"

Filipino beauties are astonishing because of their Malayan skin tone, but why some Filipino's love to have a very fair skin? from what I have read and understood, I found out that not only Filipino people wanted to have a fairer complexion but also in regions of South East Asia (SEA) like Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei, Timor LesteSEA regions have a tropical weather which was the main reasons why SEA people have tanned skin and really lucky to have a strong melanin that can prevent them from the harmful "Ultra-violet Ray" of the sun. The ultra-violet ray is the number one cause of skin cancer and darkens the skin so scientists make a sun blocker which can also make the skin whiter while protecting our skin from the danger of the sun-rays.

I'm from the Philippines and it's already a trend that if you have fairer skin you are more pleasing to the eyes of other people which I really don't get. Personally, I love to have a tanned skin rather than having a fair white skin because it really suites me however, my skin will still reveal it's true color after not having enough sun exposure especially this past quarantined days.

Getting up in the morning and getting enough sunlight gives me an energy to perform my daily tasks while others are totally scared in going out to catch some sunlight. If you are reading this and you feel the same way, I would like to send hugs to you!

I'm just wishing that everyone should appreciate the color of the skin that we're blessed with. "Color of our skin makes us a unique as a human race in this world". Let's remember that the color of our skin maybe different from each and every nations but we can still make our skin color stand out by being the best version of ourselves everyday!
